Increased forecast frequency

I’m very excited to announce that the forecast on Astrospheric will now update more frequently, which means fresher data and (hopefully) more accurate forecasts for all. Astrospheric is the only service producing astronomy data from the Canadian Meteorological Center’s model four times a day.

For more information on the update, notes on other data changes, and update times, check out this post on CloudyNights.

There is nothing you need to do to turn this feature on, but please note that Seeing (Scintillation) will be the odd one out for awhile, only updating twice a day. This will be improved in a future update.

Finally, come follow Astrospheric on Facebook! You can check out the page here.
